We are in the final recording stages of a new album, 'In Blue'. It's inspired by the Indian Festival of colour and light, Holi. Someone recently asked me what was the 'definitive' Hakim Jamal style - well this is probably it! It's stylistically Jamaican and features a number of Jamaican vocal artists on tracks which have the distinctive Hakim 80's analogue sound. This is the cover artwork and a track listing will be announced shortly. The album will drop at some point. between now and the end of August 2022.
